The Heights Munduk has been under construction since July 2025, it is around 65% complete, and it is on track for handover in December 2027. This page is an open, ongoing log of where the build stands, with recent drone footage you can watch today.
Where the build stands today
The heavy, capital-intensive phase is complete. What stands on site today is a resort well into its finishing stages: the structural work is done and the detailed finishing is underway.
- Land & platform: the full 1.2-hectare site is secured and levelled, the slopes engineered and retained.
- The suspended road: Bali's first canopy-level access road is formed, threading the hillside to every villa.
- Structures: the full concrete structures are up on seven of the eight villas, plus the lobby and restaurant pavilion.
- Now underway: architectural finishing, facades, joinery and interiors, has begun.
- The eighth villa: the four-bedroom Signature is offered off-plan and delivered with the estate by handover.

Who is building it
The Heights Munduk is built by HMK, the contractor behind the Apurva Kempinski Bali, the island's benchmark for five-star craft. The villas are designed by the studio behind Alila Villas, and the project is developed by Conceptive, the team that already delivered The Heights Melasti and The Heights Bingin, both sold out. Construction is fully contracted with HMK, and payments are released in stages against completed, independently verified milestones.
The road to handover
- Done: site works, retaining, suspended road, structures on seven villas and the pavilion.
- In progress: architectural finishing, facades and interiors.
- Next: MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and fit-out.
- Final months: furniture and FF&E, then landscaping.
- Handover: December 2027.
